GENERAL INFORMATION:

  • X Games Aspen 2015 takes January 22-25, 2015 at Buttermilk Mountain in Aspen, Colorado.
  • Competitions will be free and open to the public. Concerts, Major League Gaming, and suite packages are available for purchase. For ticket info head to www.xgames.com/tickets. All events are held outside.
  • Proper outdoor attire is recommended. 
  • Event Parking is located at the Brush Creek Intercept Lot at Hwy 82 and Brush Creek Rd. Free Shuttles provided.
  • For X Games, Aspen and Roaring Fork Valley public transportation information, call RFTA, at 970-925-8484, or go to www.rfta.com
  • Prohibited items include: large bags, weapons, alcohol, coolers, pets (working animals excepted, i.e. guide dog), folding chairs, large umbrellas, laser-lights, noisemakers, i.e. air-horns; beverages of any kind, with the exception of factory-sealed water in plastic bottles. All person/bags are subject to search at all times, on or in the parking lots, shuttles, at Wagner Park and Buttermilk properties.
  • X Games Aspen is a non-smoking, alcohol, drug and marijuana free event.
  • Tailgating and Camping are not permitted in the Brush Creek Intercept Lot.
  • Large posters and banners must be inspected by security before being allowed in the venue. X Games reserves the right to refuse admission of signage. Sticks or poles to hold flags/banners are not permitted.
  • The X Games is not responsible for lost, stolen goods or damaged goods.
  • X Games reserves the right to refuse admission to anyone at any time.
  • Commercial photography or videography is strictly prohibited. Failure to comply will result in ejection and/or loss of credential/ticket. Specifically, the following equipment is not permitted: Lenses greater than three and one half inches in length, telephoto or zoom lenses of any kind, interchangeable lenses of any kind, monopods or tripods or flash equipment of any kind. All wireless equipment must be cleared by ESPN.
  • Gates and/or specific competition venues will be closed when capacity is reached.
  • All existing facility policies may be enforced in addition to X Games venue policies.

Please visit www.xgames.com for the full competition and broadcast schedule (schedule subject to change). Please note that practices are not open to the public. The venue will be open to guests and spectators during the following dates and times:

*The venue will remain open until the end of competition. Buttermilk Mountain is open to the public daily from 9 a.m. โ€“ 4 p.m. Uphilling is permitted on the Tiehack side of the mountain but prohibited on main Buttermilk during X Games construction, event, and de-construction.

X GAMES FESTIVALS AT BUTTERMILK MOUNTAIN:

X Games Aspen will feature four themed interactive festival villages: Galleria, Gaming Shack, Playground, and Sound Factory. The villages will offer entertainment, interactive games, attractions, food and other activities. Located throughout Buttermilk Mountain, the festival villages will also feature live music, the Major League Gaming X Games Invitational, athlete autograph signings, giveaways and much more.

X GAMES CONCERTS:

X Games concert performers include: Snoop Dogg, Chromeo, Skrillex, and Wiz Khalifa performing LIVE in the Sound Factory Festival Village at the base of Buttermilk Mountain as part of the fully interactive music festival experience. Fans can purchase $150 four show general admission tickets or $200 four show preferred admission tickets which include preferred viewing, separate entrance, restroom, and cash bar. Tickets can be purchased in advance at xgamesaspen.frontgatetickets.com. Prices do not include applicable service fees. Tickets can be purchased on-site at the will call/ticket office located adjacent to the Guest Services tent on the snow level of the Galleria festival village (Based on availability). Tickets are scanned at the time of entry and no re-entry is permitted. Concessions will be available for purchase on-site at an additional cost. Concerts are rain, snow, or shine.

TRANSPORTATION INFORMATION:

PARKING & SHUTTLES
Event Parking for X Games Aspen 2014 is located at the Brush Creek Intercept Lot, (North side of Hwy 82 & Brush Creek Road) west of the Airport. X Games shuttles will run continuously from the Brush Creek Intercept Lot to the X Games venue at Buttermilk Mountain 9 a.m. until 8 p.m. from Jan. 22 - 24, and from 9 a.m. until 3:30 p.m. on Jan. 25. Additional Shuttle Service for Concert attendees will run from Brush Creek Intercept Lot, Downtown Aspen and Snowmass to the X Games venue at Buttermilk Mountain on Jan. 24, 8 p.m. until 10:15 p.m., and Jan. 25, 3:30 p.m. until 5:30 p.m.

Shuttles will also run from Aspen Highlands to Buttermilk from 9 a.m. until 4:30 p.m. from Jan. 22-25. There will be no direct transportation to/from Buttermilk to Highlands after 4:30 p.m. Guests can take a regularly scheduled bus into Aspen and transfer to an X Games bus at the Ruby Park location. Outbound shuttles to the Brush Creek Intercept Lot, Aspen and Snowmass will run 45 minutes after the last competition or concert concludes.

There is no charge for parking at the Brush Creek Intercept Lot or for the Shuttle Service to the venue. Pay parking is available in downtown Aspen.

*NOTE: Regularly scheduled RFTA shuttles (www.rfta.com) can bring you to the venue should you park in the Brush Creek Intercept Lot prior to 9 a.m. The last X Games shuttle departs from the venue's main entrance 45 minutes after the last competition or concert concludes each night.

RFTA 
RFTA provides extensive and free bus service around the town of Aspen. Shuttles run continuously during peak morning and afternoon hours. Call 970-925-8484 or go to www.rfta.com for more information. There will be a direct X Games bus from Ruby Park Station (downtown Aspen) to/from Buttermilk Mountain. Anyone requiring transportation outside of Aspen/Snowmass, such as Glenwood Springs, Carbondale or Basalt, should reference RFTA for assistance.

DROP OFF AND PICK UP AREA
Guests can be dropped off and picked up at the base of Buttermilk Mountain. Take Hwy 82, turn at Owl Creek Rd. and take first left into Buttermilk Parking Lot. Loading and unloading only. NO parking or waiting.

DRIVING DIRECTIONS
From Denver: Take I-70 West to Glenwood Springs (Exit 116). Proceed South on Hwy 82 to Brush Creek Rd. and park at the Brush Creek Intercept Lot. Free shuttles will take you to and from the event.
From Grand Junction: Take I-70 East to Glenwood Springs (Exit 116). Proceed South on Hwy 82 to Brush Creek Rd. and park at the Brush Creek Intercept Lot.

GUEST SERVICES INFORMATION:

The Guest Services tent is the designated area for all event information. Event schedule, venue activities, lost and found, wheelchair viewing maps and other event services are offered. Guest Services is located on the snow level of the Galleria on the downhill side of the main snow access stairs.

If you have any event-related questions or concerns while on-site, please locate a Guest Services Representative or ask where the closest one can be found.

ADA 
ADA drop-off is available at the base of Buttermilk Mountain. Take Highway 82, turn onto Owl Creek Rd. and take first left into Buttermilk Parking Lot. Follow signs toward the ADA/VIP Drop-off/Pick-Up location. Designated wheelchair viewing areas have been established at the patio deck of Bumps Lodge and on the south/hill side of Bumps below Big Air. Staff in the Guest Services tent will be available to escort an individual to the wheel chair viewing area. Please locate a Guest Services representative at the venue entrance or go to the Guest Services tent located in X Fest for information and assistance.

ATMs 
ATM machines are located inside Bumps Lodge, lower level.

CONCESSIONS 
Food and drink concessions will be provided on-site near the Snowmobile competition course and the Inn at Aspen patio, which will offer an outdoor seating area. Bumps Lodge also provides outdoor patio concessions along with a full-service restaurant indoors. Please refer to the map for specific locations.

LOST CHILDREN/LOST AND FOUND ITEMS
The Guest Services tent is designated as the meeting point for lost or separated people. Lost and Found is also located at the Guest Services tent. Items that are found should be turned into staff at this location. Guests reporting any lost items should be directed there, as well.

MEDICAL 
On-site medical is available to guests. If you have or see a medical emergency, please contact an ESPN staff member or Security immediately and they will notify medical personnel. The Spectator Medical tent is located next to Bumps in the base area. Water and basic medical services are provided by trained staff.

MERCHANDISE 
Official X Games Merchandise is available near the main entrance along with two locations in the X Fest area.

PUBLIC PAY PHONES
Public pay phones are available inside of Bumps Lodge.

RESTROOMS
Public restrooms are located inside Bumps Lodge. Additional public restrooms are set up directly across from Bumps main entrance doors as well as to the south/hill side of Bumps below Big Air. Restrooms can also be found near the Inn at Aspen patio.

SECURITY 
Security Check Points are located at the entrance and exit to the venue. Event Security personnel are also patrolling the venue and will assist with crowd and access control.
