Colorado was hit hard this week with huge snowfall totals all around, but Wolf Creek gets the bragging rights with 55 inches in the past 7 days! The resort now has a base of 109" at the summit and 99" midway, allowing them to live up to their name as the most snow in Colorado. On average they receive more annual snowfall than any other Colorado resort, and they are way ahead of any other resort with their snowfall totals so far this year exceeding 200".
Wolf Creek is 100% open with access to both the East and West side of Wolf Creek Pass, allowing access to unreal conditions. This past week's snow totals reached 55 inches with 17" falling over the past 24 hours, 29" over the past 48 hours, and 36" over the past 3 days. With over 4 feet of snow, you can expect some of the best conditions you could imagine without needing a sled or cat to get you there. Wolf Creek is also offering $44 adult tickets for Local Appreciation day on Sunday, January 8th and child tickets for just $24. If you love free refills, avoiding the crowds, and some serious face shots, you should highly consider making the trip to Wolf Creek this weekend! No matter where you ride though, safe travels, have fun, and be aware of the serious Avalanche danger if headed into the backcountry.
