Winter Park is all set to open for their 75th season tomorrow, November 15th.  First chair is at 8:30 a.m., kicking off the "diamond anniversary season" for the resort.

The Arrow, Endeavor, Gemini, Comet, Meteor, and Spirit lifts will be turning, which will service Village Way, Parkway, Porcupine, and Sorensen. The early-season terrain park will be on Sorensen, with over 10 features and a dedicated platter lift. Sounds perfect for anyone trying to get a lot of laps in.

Opening Day activities at Winter Park include live music at Derailer from 3 to 5 p.m and a social media photo contest, with a free Coors Light or non-alcoholic beverage at Doc’s or Derailer to anyone who takes their picture throughout the day on Winter Park’s specially decorated “first chair.”

Winter Park has received 28.5” of fresh snow this week, and maintenance crews are working around the clock to open more terrain as quickly as possible. All the new snow also means it’s only a matter of time before Mary Jane Territory opens .
