Another successful year of The Meeting took place September 26-28. 2013. Due to the renovation of the Wheeler Opera House, The Meeting 9 took place in the Wagner Park Theatre, making for an exciting, new atmosphere. The event was appropriately kicked off on Thursday evening with the first dusting of snow Aspen has seen on the streets of town.
The annual NEPSA video awards left the crowd in an uproar of laughter and stoked for the winter season to come. Over the course of the weekend, the audience indulged in a packed schedule with all the biggest and best ski and snowboard movies out this year. The conference portion powered by Group Y brought outside perspective to facilitate thought-provoking discussion around growing the snow sports business. Speakers and panelists of diverse backgrounds brought insightful and interesting topics to the table that made for a great networking and brainstorming atmosphere. The fun continued on Saturday, September 27 with go-carting out at the Woody Creek Race track under bluebird skies.
