Telluride is open this weekend with a terrain park setup that includes ten features! This FREE hike park is accessible this weekend only, since the resort doesn't officially open until Friday, December 2nd. Telluride Terrain Parks wanted to offer this great setup to the community since they are opening later in the season than expected due to the unseasonably warm temperatures Colorado has seen over the past few months. All you gotta do is show up and hike the park as much as you want all weekend long. Definitely a great setup with some really fun features, get out there and check it out before it's gone!
Once the mountain is running the lifts again and the resort receives more snow, Telluride Terrain Parks has a lot of different options for all ability levels with their three parks. Their beginner and intermediate park, Ute Park, offers 25 beginner and 25 intermediate features. Some of the features include: Rollers, bank turns, a mini half pipe, small jumps, 5 ft - 15 ft jumps, rails, boxes, barrels, and logs.
Another option is the Hoot Brown Intermediate Park, which offers 25 features split into two separate lines running side by side. Some of the features include: Wall rides, 10 ft - 20 ft jumps, rails, boxes, barrel rolls, cannons, close out rails, and much more!
The resort's third option is the Hoot Brown Advanced Park, which offers another 25 features. This park offers some serious features that include: A jump line with 25 ft - 50 ft jumps, a whale tail, a rainbow rail, barrels, a C Box, a hitching post, elbow rails, a down flat down, their signature Pick Ax rail, and tons more! This park has just about everything and is insanely fun to lap with friends. Don't miss out, make sure you get to Telluride this season.
