LOVE GAMES 2015 RECAP

The idea for Love Games came about when Raul Pinto (of Satellite Boardshop in Boulder) and Scotty Goodale were discussing the Colorado snowboard scene and events like X-Games and Dew Tour. While they both thought those major contests were great, they only represent one side of snowboarding. They wanted to showcase the more underground side of snowboarding that was so prominent in Colorado in the early days of the sport (Read our Tarquin Robbins interview for a good look at Colorado's snowboard history) . And what better way to showcase that side than a DIY event at one of the state's most legendary spots: Loveland Pass.

The event, which took place this past Sunday and is now in it's 5th year, has quickly become one of the must attend snowboard events in Colorado. Here's a taste of what went down.
