When we decided to hold an end of the season photo shoot last week, we were overwhelmed by the response we got. Riders like Chad Otterstrom, Pat Milbery, Colin Spencer, Zack Black, Chris & Eric Willett, Meg Pugh, Benji Farrow, and many more all came to bang out in the park.
Photographers Jeff Nass, Jeff Brockmeyer, Chris Garrison, and Justin Lesniak all joined the crew to make sure we did not miss a second of this madness.
A big thanks to Breckenridge resort and the park crew there for putting together a monster set up. We are already looking forward to next winterto see what the 2011/2012 season brings.
Keep an eye out in September 2011, when Volume 2 of Snowboard Colorado drops, to see the other bangers we got on this fine April day. Who knows where they will appear ...
"We haven't had summer conditions this good since 2008," quipped Rich Burkley, vice president mountain operations. "We figure that if we open for skiing maybe it will quit snowing. We encourage everyone to go up and make a few turns then jump on your bike, hit the trails or swing the golf club. It's certainly a unique opportunity to enjoy everything the valley has to offer."
