Vail Resorts (NYSE: MTN) announced today that it has teamed up with Eldora Mountain Resort to give Colorado skiers and snowboarders unlimited, unrestricted access to Eldora on the industry’s best-selling season pass—the Epic Pass—for the 2013-2014 winter season. The Epic Pass now features nine world-class resorts across three states and access to 25,080 acres, 35 bowls and 33 terrain parks at Vail, Beaver Creek, Breckenridge, Keystone, Arapahoe Basin and Eldora in Colorado and Heavenly, Northstar and Kirkwood in California and Nevada at $689 for adults and $359 for children (ages 5-12).
Also new this year, Vail Resorts is offering the “Keystone A-Basin Pass”, which features unlimited access to two of the closest mountain resorts to the Front Range and some of the best terrain at $279 for adults and $199 for children (with limited holiday restrictions), only $100 more than the cost of a four-pack ticket.
“We are thrilled to offer Eldora Mountain Resort as part of next season’s Epic Pass for Colorado skiers and snowboarders. Adding Eldora to our already robust offering of mountain resorts on the Epic Pass gives Front Range skiers and snowboarders the greatest choice of resort access for the best value in the ski industry. Now our guests have several options to ski close to home, at six iconic resorts in Colorado as well as enjoy a trip further West to our three additional world-class resorts in Lake Tahoe,” said Kirsten Lynch, executive vice president and chief marketing officer of Vail Resorts. “All of Vail Resorts season passes provide our guests the flexibility to choose what pass product is right for them based on which resorts they prefer and how much they plan to ski and ride next season. We encourage all of our guests to purchase their passes in the spring to take advantage of the lowest guaranteed price for the next winter season.”
