Remember Echo Mountain? Yeah, that Echo Mountain, well it looks like they are back for the 2015/2016 snowboard season packed full of "Terrain Based Learning." What do you think? Doomed to fail or good news for all?
And if you are wondering about a terrain park, here it is straight from the horse's mouth:
"UPDATED: At this time Echo Mountain does not have the Terrain Park features provided by previous ownership. We have the 9 feature Natural Terrain Park in the trees, but we do NOT own any features. If individuals or a group want to create a terrain park we are completely open to discussions but do not want individuals buying passes with the expectation of a terrain park in 2015/16."
Here's more information on Echo Mountain:
- 45 minutes from Denver
- Terrain Based Learning Area for Beginners
- A mountain for the entire family
- Race training when the mountain is not open to the public
Echo Mountain is a small, family-run ski resort located in the Rocky Mountains just outside of Denver, Colorado. The resort is a premier race training facility in November and opens to the public on December 10. We are the first ski area in Colorado to implement Terrain Based Learning and we want to teach the front rangers to ski and ride!
