22 men entered and now only 10 remain. The Men's Superpipe Semi Finals were most definitely one to watch. Scotty Lago's first run of 92.75 held on to the top spot by the end of the semis, followed by Shaun White and Greg Bretz's first runs of 90.50 and 89.00 respectively.
Also advancing is Breckenridge team member Brett Esser representing Colorado properly in his second run that scored him an 86 and solidified is fifth place qualifying spot.
We would like to give some honorable mentions to another Breckenridge local, Zach Black, who threw done an entertaining hand plant session at the bottom of the pipe during is second run. And if you saw this semi final, then you will know that we have to mention Kazu Kokubo, who despite qualifying for finals, put down one of the funnest looking runs that we think anyone has had in a superpipe competition. Congrats to all competitors for a fund round of superpipe.
