Keep those fingers crossed, as parts of the Colorado Rockies could see up to 18 inches of snow by Tuesday morning! Many of the Colorado Resorts should see significant snow accumulations as this storm just dumped in California with accumulations of 24 inches in some areas.

The Weather Channel reports that:

A reinforcing shot of cold air and associated weaker storm system will allow snow to develop by late Monday across much of the Rockies. Strong winds are also expected in the Rockies and Four Corners Sunday, which when combined with falling snow, could lead to dangerous travel conditions in the high country, particularly over passes. Over a foot of snow is likely in the highest elevations from the Cascades to the Wasatch and Rockies through Monday. Locally up to two feet of snow may accumulate.

Wolf Creek saw a foot of snow overnight and already have 80% of their mountain open! Let's hope the rest of the resorts can catch up, so keep those snow dances going and lets hope we see some serious snow across Colorado! Would love to see more terrain open at all of the Colorado Resorts and some POW DAYS to Enjoy, but we will have to wait and see what the storm and Mother Nature delivers.
