Red Fang and Early Man performed in front of a sold out crowd at Summit Music Hall last night to kick off the SIA weekend. The event, presented by Capita Super Corp. and hosted by Snowboard Colorado Magazine, was full before Early Man took the stage while Defender's of Awesome 2: Stay Bad Ass played on the screens behind the bar. The band played a high-energy set that included a song to Phil Jacques' snowboarding, who was in attendance.
A shirtless Brendan Gerard MC'd for the night and spirits were high and Sailor Jerry was flowing when Red Fang took the stage after a giant product toss from sponsors Electric, Capita, Union, Coal, Dakine, DieCutStickers.com, Eagle Pass Heliski, Stance Socks, and Sailor Jerry. The venue was at full capacity and the mosh pit was going strong on the floor while the VIP area upstairs was filled with snowboard greats, company owners, and industry elite. Attendees included Gigi Ruf, Mikey LeBlanc, Pat Bridges, DCP, Bode Merrill, and plenty of others.
