The ski and ride season isn't over yet! Arapahoe Basin, the ski area with the longest season in Colorado, will re-open for one bonus weekend:
Friday, June 10 through Sunday, June 12, 2016.
A-Basin will celebrate the "original" closing day on Sunday, June 5. The ski area and all skier services will be closed from Monday, June 6, through Thursday, June 9. It will then reopen on Friday, June 10! Our actual Closing Day will be on Sunday, June 12, 2016.
The Black Mountain Express and Lenawee Mountain lifts will run from 8:30 a.m. to 2:30 p.m. each day of the bonus weekend. The plan is to have top-to-bottom riding and a late-season terrain park. They will have construction going on in the base area, and the A-Frame base lodge and the 6th Alley Bar & Grill will be CLOSED for the bonus weekend. They’re moving the party up to Black Mountain Lodge at mid-mountain, complete with live music and an end-of-season BBQ. They will be serving food, drinks and fun up there from 10:30 a.m. to 1:30 p.m. The base area operations, including ticket and retail sales, will be based in the Rental Shop.
