Temple Cummins is a pure powder destroyer, and has been his entire career! Tim Stanford put together “Scooby Snacks” to catch him in his natural habitat on his infamous GNU Billy Goat. Be prepared to be extremely jealous of the terrain Temple conquers on a daily basis.
"Mark Carter is a cowboy-snowboarder half-breed, a man’s man. Carter approaches snowboarding with the same reckless but calculated gusto that is necessary when wrangling a herd of hundreds of cattle - a task that he's burdened with on his family's cattle ranch every fall before snowboard season kicks into gear.
This past season, Mark spent the winter going balls to the wall in the Jackson Hole backcountry, filming with Teton Gravity Research, Sherpas Cinema, and Arbor Snowboards. This full part is the culmination of countless days hucking off huge jumps and enormous, sketchy lines. Now kick your boots up and enjoy the fruit of Mark's labor."
After scoring all time conditions in Valdez Alaska, Pat rips to the northern end of the Chugatch range for one last heli mission before calling it a season. Pat calls long time friend John Jackson to help lead the way as they show one of snowboarding's most exciting young talents, Ben Ferguson, the ropes of filming in AK. Ben's natural talent and fearless approach shown in contest, proves to be a perfect combination for the Alaskan backcountry, and the massive hip that awaits. Ben stokes the fire and sets off the final session of the year by opening up their mega back country hip jump with a laid out switch backside 180 method. Needless to say the boys answer back and close out the season with tricks in the bag and smiles on their faces.
Some really heavy snowboarding in this PNW backcountry edit from Matt Wainhouse.
I wish there was a spot list attached to this full part, because I know at least a few of these shots are not too far away.
Revelstoke, British Columbia (Oct 15th, 2014) – Eagle Pass Heliski is very excited to announce our NEW Day Heliski/Board Staging Facility for the upcoming 2014/15 winter season!
This 5,800 square-foot facility, designed and built by Shawn West and Eric Chevalier - two of our lead guides – will be the new central meeting spot for all Day, Private and Media guests. Located directly on the Trans-Canada Highway heading west, a short 6 km drive from downtown Revelestoke, guests will meet each morning to collect all safety gear and powder skis (both free for all guests), complete training, then step onto one of three helicopters parked at the facility for an epic day of Heliskiing!
By meeting at this facility, we will now be that much closer to our tenure, resulting in shorter flight times, and our guests enjoying the famous, deep, dry Monashee powder as soon as the sun rises!
As a bonus, since all the media crews that visit Eagle Pass will meet at this facility – like Absinthe Films, Poor Boyz Productions or Sherpas Cinema – you never know what professional skier or snowboarder you might bump into before taking off for the day!
Stay tuned on our social media channels for further updates of this project. Our NEW Day Heliski/Board Staging Facility plans to open December 1st, 2014.
This is probably one of the most well-rounded parts we've seen all year. Cam hits some of the gnarliest street spots ever while still managing to throw down over massive road gaps and on backcountry kickers. Really impressive part and a definite must watch.
From Endeavor Snowboards' Vimeo:
"Cam Pierce is not your average snowboard story. Born and raised in North Carolina with an interest in rap and music making Cam made his way onto the all-star team of Forum Snowboards/ The Project and filmed with them for a number of years. When Forum was cut by Burton, it left all the riders looking for a new path. Some fell off while others prospered with Cam falling into the latter category by finding a new board sponsors with Endeavor and a new outwear sponsor with 686. Thanks to the help by 686 Cam filmed a full part this past season and traveled to locations all over North America. Once all the clips were in they were edited together by Ian Post into this final project. So take a few minutes to check out his full part."
If you're not a fan of Jussi Oksanen, you're not a fan of snowboarding. Check out Jussi and Mikey Rencz go deep in to the backcountry in the first installment of Burton's Presents series.
Arbor Snowboards just released this full part from Curtis Woodman and let me say this, Curtis makes snowboarding look FUN. Obviously snowboarding is fun, but something tells me Curt is enjoying it a little more than most.
"Curtis Woodman has been gracing the snowboard world with quality footage for nearly a decade. With ender parts in the Neoproto and Think Thank filmographies, Curtis has cemented his place as one of snowboarding saltiest, surfiest, most barreled-est dawgs. Without further ado, we at Arbor Snowboards are proud to release Curtis' full part from Season 2 of his upcoming web series, "Surf The Earth"."
