The second incarnation of Snowboy Productions "The Projects" went down over four days in Trollhaugen, Wisconsin. An idea created by Krush Kulesza and Scott Stevens, The Projects are an adrenaline shot of creative energy injected into the heart of predictable terrain park design. Jesse Paul and Ryan Paul led an amazing crew of 40+ global and local riders as they lapped, tricked and stacked on every line and feature the Trollhaugen park crew was able to build. The whole thing was documented under the unblinking camera eye of Ben McCabe and a community network of extra angles & smartphones. Thank you to David Sutton and everyone at Trollhaugen as well as the support of Salomon Snowboards, Coal Headwear, Bent Metal Binding Works, Crab Grab, Diecutstickers.com and Transworld Snowboarding for making it happen. This Fall, Arbor Snowboards will drop their first full-length film, "Cosa Nostra". From the spines of Valdez, to the varied terrain of Jackson Hole, through the oceanside streets of Niigata, and into the frozen city scape of Quebec, the Arbor Team will travel to the regions that have influenced it’s own evolution. Like many things, snowboarding is a product of its environments, with personalities as varied as its settings. The Arbor Team Video will provide an authentic representation of snowboarding’s manifestations as seen through the life and times of Bryan Iguchi, Mark Carter, Marie-France Roy, Frank April, Scotty Vine, Erik Leon, Mike Liddle, Emil Ulsletten, Ian Sams, Cam Fitzpatrick, Atsushi Hasegawa, Mike Gray, Charles Reid, Ryland West, and more. This is our passion, this is our family, this is our thing. This is “Cosa Nostra”.

Barrett Christy was recently awarded the Legend Award by her peers and for good reason! Her 20+ year career has been unbelievable with a stock pile of contest wins, an Olympic ring, a huge number of X Games medals, and 20 years with a pro model from GNU and Mervin Manufacturing. She has been a force to be reckoned with her entire career and continues to influence the entire GNU Girls line with her input going into each and every one of their boards each year. Her latest Pro Model, the GNU B Pro, is her 20 year anniversary model and is an all mountain destroyer that can not only handle any conditions out there, but also gives back as a portion from each sale goes to Breast Cancer Awareness though a partnership with Boarding 4 Breast Cancer (B4BC).
Pete Saari, Co Founder of GNU, had this to say about Barrett's achievements throughout her amazing career: "She elevated the entire brand... She set the tone for progressive women's snowboarding, showed woman that there were no barriers. She won everything." Pete and Mike Olson knew she was a special rider when they gave her the first Pro Model of her career 20 years ago, but nobody really knew how incredible of a career she would really have. Hats off to you Barrett, you are a great influence to not only Women riders but to all riders, and snowboarding would not have been the same without you. Congrats on your accomplishments over the years and the extremely well deserved Legends Award!
